Little Spartanburg.

Slobot found himself atop a trestle of the Spartanburg Community College Garden Railroad.

There Slobot found an 0-guage model train and minitures of Spartanburg landmarks like the Daniel Morgan statue...

the downtown clock tower...

and the Union Depot.

The 400-foot long track and the surrounding botanical gardens were the brainchild of SCC's horticulture department head Jimmy Painter, who dedicated the railroad upon his retirement in May of 2007.

Also featured in the garden railroad of SCC is a model of the Piedmont Interstate Fairgrounds.

Slobot loved the Ferris wheel!

Also in the garden is a replica of the QS/1 headquarters.

Slobot loved the SCC Garden Railroad!

Slobot would like to thank Spartanburg Community College, the Piedmont Garden Railroaders Association.
